Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview:Seeking experienced Special Education Teachers with a Moderate license to fill full-time leave contract roles in a K-12 public school setting in Massachusetts. The roles require skilled educators capable of supporting students with diverse learning needs at both the secondary and middle school levels.
Locations and Duration:
- High School (Grades 9-12): Two full-time positions from now through June 2026, hours 7:30am-2:10pm.
- Middle School (Grades 6-8): One full-time position from now through March 2026, hours 7:50am-2:40pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to moderate special education needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Moderate Special Education teaching license.
- Experience teaching at the secondary level (grades 6-12).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
