Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview:Seeking experienced Special Education Teachers with a Moderate license to fill full-time leave contract roles in a K-12 public school setting in Massachusetts. The roles require skilled educators capable of supporting students with diverse learning needs at both the secondary and middle school levels.

Locations and Duration:

High School (Grades 9-12): Two full-time positions from now through June 2026, hours 7:30am-2:10pm.
Middle School (Grades 6-8): One full-time position from now through March 2026, hours 7:50am-2:40pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to moderate special education needs.
Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Moderate Special Education teaching license.
Experience teaching at the secondary level (grades 6-12).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
