Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Were seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to support a Long-Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy team in Massachusetts. This is an 8-week contract opportunity with potential for long-term placement, offering steady evening hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

In this role, youll be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications, while collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of pharmaceutical service.

Position Overview:

Environment: Long-Term Care Mail Order
Schedule: Monday Friday
- Primary shift: 2nd shift, 3:00pm 11:00pm
- May occasionally cover 3rd shift (11:00pm 7:00am) if needed
Duration: 8 weeks

Responsibilities:

Accurately verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications.
Ensure all prescriptions meet legal and safety standards.
Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Support chronic disease management and patient education.
Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations as required.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of medications.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
Long-Term Care pharmacy experience required.
Strong clinical knowledge, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
