Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. This fully onsite, part-time role involves providing essential IT support for a pharmaceutical company, ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues. Responsibilities:
• Deliver onsite technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Manage and resolve escalated tickets in a timely manner, ensuring user satisfaction.
• Assist with application support, including uninstalling and reinstalling approved software on devices.
• Provide installation and maintenance services for applications used across the organization.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper setup or removal of IT resources.
• Support conference rooms and audiovisual equipment to facilitate seamless meetings and presentations.
• Perform imaging of devices and equipment to standardize configurations and prepare for deployment.
• Utilize ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests effectively.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT role.
• Proficiency in supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing and resolving IT issues.
• Expertise in computer and desktop imaging processes.
• Knowledge of Zoom and Microsoft Teams for troubleshooting and support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with users and team members.
