Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will take ownership of managing several business units, overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, and contributing to process improvements. This position also emphasizes team development and requires expertise in contract drafting, reviewing, and vendor agreements.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage contracts for multiple business units, ensuring end-to-end handling from initiation to completion.
• Draft, review, and provide detailed guidance on contracts, including distributor and vendor agreements.
• Collaborate with team members to refine and enhance contract templates and processes.
• Handle distribution agreements, offering expertise in both domestic and international contract management.
• Support vendor contract reviews to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline contract workflows.
• Foster growth and development within the team through mentorship and guidance.
• Ensure all legal documents align with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Provide strategic legal advice to support the organization’s business goals.• Licensed Attorney with active credentials.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, including drafting motions and briefing.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing vendor contracts and distribution agreements.
• Familiarity with international contract management is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in discovery processes and legal documentation.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements within legal workflows.
