Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Elementary Special Education Teacher is sought to provide service delivery and case management for an established caseload of 11 students. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, running from ASAP through June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and services to support students with special needs
- Manage and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned caseload without the requirement of conducting evaluations
- Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service providers to ensure prehensive support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all students
- Provide interventions tailored to individual student goals and objectives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in special education
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development and case management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
