Job Opportunity: Physician for School-Based Wellness Center
Location: Chicopee, MA (Residential Trade School Campus)
We are seeking a dedicated physician to join the wellness center at a local residential trade school, providing medical care for students. The wellness center is located directly on the school campus, Westover Job Corps Center in Chicopee, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct physical exams for all students</li>
<li>Provide low-acuity walk-in care</li>
<li>Offer general medical support to a young adult population, ages 16-24</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License</li>
<li>Federal DEA Certification</li>
<li>Board certification is not required, but experience in urgent care or primary care is preferred</li>
<li>At least one year of experience in young adult care</li>
</ul>
Position Details:
<ul>
<li>Schedule: 18 hours per week, on a regular, weekly basis</li>
<li>Classification: Contract (Locum Tenens) provider</li>
<li>Compensation: Competitive contract rate from $100.00 per hour, with malpractice insurance provided</li>
