Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, long-term substitute position offers the opportunity to support early childhood education from November through April at an established early childhood center in Wilmington, MA. The role focuses on delivering general education curriculum to an early childhood caseload, requiring a candidate with strong classroom management skills and a passion for fostering developmental growth in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement general education lesson plans tailored for early childhood students
- Manage classroom dynamics to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with support staff and families to support student success
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district policies and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts certification in Early Childhood Education required
- Experience teaching general education in early childhood settings preferred
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
- Strong munication and organizational skills
- mitment to a full-time schedule from November to April
