Position Highlights:
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; Monday-Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $41-$43.95/hourly
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a permanent basis. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve their highest potential in communication and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to patients across age groups, depending on setting (pediatric, adult, geriatric).
- Document all services provided accurately, maintaining compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Participate in team meetings, staff training, and continuing education.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid SLP License.
- CCC-SLP from ASHA.
- Recent clinical experience (minimum 1 year).
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
