Summary

Full-time position for our Busy Beavers pre-kindergarten program. Children in this group are 4 - 5 years of age. You would be collaborating with a co-teacher to implement a Developmentally Appropriate curriculum. This is done using thematic units of your choosing. You have a creativity to build your curriculum without having to follow someone else’s plan. our program has a maximum of 18 children, 2 full-time teachers with the addition of aides that float though out the day. Teachers also share an early and late shift. Hours are 7:30 - 4:30 and 8:15 - 5:15.

Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• weekly curriculum planning
• maintain a safe, clean and organized environment
• interact with children to help build self-esteem

Requirements

Education and experience are a must for this position since we are licensed by the State of NH.

• A minimum of 18 credits for Lead Teacher
• 3 credits must be in Child or Human Growth Development

About Us

RainbowLand was founded in 1999 and is a licensed facility through the State of New Hampshire. We are open throughout the year from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. We have been in business for 24 years. Owner is a part of the work force. She works along side her teachers every day to help and support the staff in any way possible. She believes in being the substitute teacher when necessary. We believe in smaller ratios when humanly possible, infants and toddler classes are the perfect example. We have individual classrooms for each age.

RainbowLand educates children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Although the center is equipped and licensed for a total of 105 children, we only enroll approximately 80 to ensure the highest quality of education and personal attention.
