As the Director of Facilities Operations, you will oversee all aspects of hospital facilities managementensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment that supports exceptional patient care. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, capital projects, and a multidisciplinary facilities team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of hospital facilities operations, including building maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hospital systems.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and construction in collaboration with hospital leadership and external contractors.
• Recruit, train, and manage a skilled facilities team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
• Partner with hospital administration to support operational and patient care goals.
• Maintain emergency preparedness plans, hospital safety programs, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and healthcare compliance standards.
• Proven success in managing capital projects, construction, and vendor relationships.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
