\n\nPCU RN Job Details – Vermont Travel Nursing Assignment\n

  • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
  • Location: Springfield, VT 05156 (Vermont healthcare jobs)\n
  • Unit: Inpatient Progressive Care Unit (IPCU) – Adaptive Acuity\n
  • Start Date: December 29, 2025\n
  • End Date: March 30, 2026\n
  • Duration: 13-week contract\n
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
  • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday coverage as required\n

\n\nPCU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience\n
  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required\n
  • Charge nurse experience (must be willing and able to take charge as needed)\n
  • Drip and infusion experience required\n
  • ICU nursing experience strongly preferred\n
  • At least 3 months of previous travel nursing experience required\n
  • Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within RN scope of practice\n
  • Experience in small, critical access healthcare facilities preferred\n
  • Must have own vehicle for transportation\n

\n\nPCU RN Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in an adaptive acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting (typical nurse:patient ratio 1:5; may provide PCU care at 3:1 ratio as needed)\n
  • Serve as charge nurse as required\n
  • Administer and monitor drips and infusions\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Float to other inpatient units as needed within RN scope of practice\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold healthcare facility standards\n
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing training as required\n
