Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Physical Therapist (PT) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage in a K-12 school setting located in Cambridge, MA. This role supports students with diverse needs, including non-verbal students and those with severe autism. The position runs from February through the end of the school year (EOSY) and offers weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, SLPs, and other specialists to create and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Support students with complex physical and communication challenges including severe autism.
- Maintain compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License required.
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably within a K-12 setting.
- Ability to provide therapy services to students with severe disabilities and non-verbal communication challenges.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
