RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• 32-hour guarantee per week
\n• Function as a key member of the surgical team in both circulating and scrubbing capacity
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient population (ages 16 and older)
\n• Provide specialized care for general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures
\n• Work in 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room environment
\n• Handle mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient cases
\n• Hospital provided scrubs for dress code
\n• Work with Cerner EMR system
\n• Weekday call required 2 days per week with 1-hour call back time
\n• Weekend call required 1 weekend per month with 1-hour call back time
\n• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
\n• Minimum 2-5 years of experience required
\n• Both scrubbing and circulating experience required
\n• Experience working in smaller OR facility required
\n• Phase I/PACU experience required
\n• Multiple surgical experience required
\n• Cerner EMR experience required
\n• Travel experience highly preferred
\n• BSN preferred
\n• Must own personal vehicle (firm requirement)
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
\n• Vermont nursing license required
\n• Strict 3-strike rule for call-offs enforced - contract eligible for termination after 3 absences
\n• Call-offs must be communicated to unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
