Summary
Red Clover is seeking a positive, high energy, and joy seeking young infant teacher to join our team! You would work in a co-teaching team to support the learning and development of 8 incredible children! You would also be part of team of dedicated and passionate educators who are committed to the important work of ECE and being part of the village to support children and families.
Red Clover Children’s Center (RCCC) is a non-profit early childhood education program that opened in Middlebury, Vermont at the beginning 2024! We serve 24 children ages birth through three years old. This program came into existence through a calling to contribute and support the significant need for accessible high quality early childhood education and care in our community.
As Early Childhood professionals, we know that we cannot achieve our goal without a team of dedicated, passionate, and caring educators to join us. Duties
- Provide high quality care and education to children through an intentional and flexible teaching style.
- Prioritize and ensure the health and safety of all children.
- Know and understand Vermont State Child Care Regulations.
- Know and understand RCCC policies and procedures.
- Be a willing collaborator seeking to contribute to a community and culture of positivity, open-mindedness, and support.
- Work collaboratively with team of educators to ensure support and understanding of the needs of the children, classrooms, and program as a whole.
- Establish trusting relationships with families through clear, respectful communication.
- Set compassionate, developmentally appropriate boundaries with children while using positive language and redirection techniques.
- Communicate in a positive, respectful manner with the goal of problem solving and collaboration in mind.
- Understand the relationship between RCCC and MiddUCC’s and engage respectfully and collaboratively.
Requirements
High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent
