Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers two paraprofessional openings supporting K-12 students in Manchester, NH area schools for a full semester contract through June 17, 2026. These roles involve working closely with special education populations and require flexibility and professionalism.
Position 1 (Full-time):
- Location: Brookline, NH
- School Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:35 AM 3:10 PM (32.5 hours/week)
- Setting: 1:1 assignment supporting a capable but easily distracted student
Position 2 (Part-time):
- Location: Hollis, NH
- School Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM 2:50 PM (23 hours/week)
- Setting: Preschool classroom combining intensive needs and general education
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is required
Key Qualifications:
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in professional settings
- Comfortable working with special education (SPED) populations
- High school diploma required
- Reliable transportation essential
- District-required fingerprinting and ability to pass onboarding procedures
- Ability to provide at least one completed professional reference prior to placement
- Flexibility to adjust to classroom rearrangements when necessary
Responsibilities include providing educational support tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities, assisting in classroom activities, and promoting a safe and positive learning environment. Candidates must be adaptable, attentive, and capable of working collaboratively with educators and support staff.
