Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Welder Mechanic in an outdoor, industrial setting. The primary responsibility is to perform mechanical repairs, fabrication, and welding duties on facility machinery and industrial equipment, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery using welding (TIG, MIG, Stick/ARC) and basic mechanical skills.

Install, dismantle, replace, or adjust machinery per blueprints and engineering specifications.

Weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components according to technical instructions.

Utilize hoists, pulleys, forklifts, and other industrial equipment safely to move heavy materials.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; clean, lubricate, and conduct routine inspections of equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

Record work performed using maintenance logs or digital work order systems.

Strictly adhere to environmental, health, and safety standards for outdoor/industrial work.

Support facility operations with tasks as directed by maintenance management.

Actively promote and maintain a culture of workplace safety.
Qualifications

3–5 years of proven experience as a welder mechanic in an industrial or outdoor environment.

Proficient in TIG, MIG, and Stick/ARC welding on various metals.

Ability to read blueprints, mechanical, and welding schematics.

Familiarity with hand and power tools, forklifts, hoists, and standard safety protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/AWS certification preferred.

Must be able to work outdoors year-round and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment & Schedule

Industrial facility; primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Full-time, Monday through Friday; occasional overtime or after-hours work may be required.
