Job DescriptionPlumbing Project Manager
Position Overview
The Plumbing Project Manager will oversee and manage plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to ensure the successful delivery of commercial and institutional plumbing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close plumbing projects according to deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project requirements and specifications.
- Manage project schedules, including resource allocation and task assignments.
- Oversee the estimating process for plumbing work and manage change orders as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Implement and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
- Lead project close-out activities and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in plumbing project management, preferably in commercial or institutional projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Office, Sage Software, and Bluebeam.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
