Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and professional Special Education Assistant to join a collaborative district team in Acton, Massachusetts. This position supports students with special needs in specialized education classrooms, providing both academic and behavioral assistance under the direction of certified teachers and related service providers.

Compensation
Hourly rate: $23.45$25.48 per hour, based on experience and district assignment.
Weekly pay and consistent recruiter support are provided throughout the duration of the contract.

Job Responsibilities
Support classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral goals
Implement behavior support plans under supervision
Maintain accurate data collection and assist with progress monitoring
Ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day
Participate in training, meetings, and professional development activities

Requirements
Experience working with students with special needs and behavioral challenges
Prior school-based experience required
Must complete a CORI background check before starting
Reliable transportation required
Strong professional references demonstrating consistent communication and reliability
