Position Summary:

As a Gaming Attendant, you will provide exceptional customer service and assistance to guests on the gaming floor, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, assisting them with inquiries, directions, and general information about the casino.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Gaming Machine Operation and Maintenance:
  • Assist guests in using gaming machines, including HHR machines and electronic gaming devices, by explaining game rules, features, and functionalities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on gaming machines, such as refilling paper for ticket printers and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Verify identification and age eligibility for guests engaging in gaming activities.
  • Assist in verifying and documenting large jackpot wins, ensuring proper payouts and adherence to casino policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized gaming area by regularly emptying ashtrays, disposing of trash, and keeping the gaming machines and surrounding areas tidy.
  • Work collaboratively with other gaming attendants, casino staff, and supervisors to ensure a coordinated and efficient operation.
  • Must maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to learn and navigate electronic gaming systems and equipment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • HHR Attendant will be required to walk the floor throughout their shift to assist the guests properly.
  • Must have basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels, maybe exposed to secondhand smoke except and varied light levels, including flashing lights. Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift.
