Phlebotomist (2 Openings) – VA White River Junction

Pay
• $25 to $30 per hour based on experience

Location
• VA White River Junction Medical Center, 163 Veterans Drive, White River Junction, VT 05009

Term
• Start: 11/01/2025
• End: 10/22/2026
• Full-time contract

Schedule
• Day shifts: 6:00a–2:30p, 6:30a–3:00p, 7:00a–3:30p, 7:30a–4:00p, 8:00a–4:30p
• Weekend, holiday, and overtime work possible
• No on call or standby

What you will do
• Perform inpatient and outpatient blood draws, including ED, STAT, ASAP, and timed draws
• Process specimens and prepare send-outs
• Confirm patient identity before collection and verify samples before testing or aliquoting
• Protect electronic and paper patient information
• Document and resolve collection and processing issues
• Deliver professional, patient-centered service

Requirements
• Three years of recent phlebotomy experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proven competency in all duties listed above
