Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for full-time Special Education Teachers to support a K-12 school district in Salem, NH for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple positions are available, including urgent openings and roles focused on intensive classrooms serving students with developmental delays and severe needs. The contract runs from August 25, 2025, through June 19, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with diverse special education needs.
- Manage caseloads varying in intensity and developmental requirements.
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and specialists to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports aligned with state regulations.
- Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment promoting student growth.
Qualifications:
- An ACTIVE New Hampshire Special Education license is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Certification or experience with intensive needs caseloads is highly preferred.
- Candidates with a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) are considered, provided they can expedite licensure.
- Commitment to on-site work at this time.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are essential.
