Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide virtual support for K-12 students in New Hampshire. This contract role offers the chance to deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs in an engaging online environment.
Location:
- Remote (serving students in New Hampshire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students ages kindergarten through 12th grade
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet student abilities and learning styles
- Collaborate with families, administrators, and support staff to support student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust instruction accordingly
- Utilize virtual teaching tools and platforms effectively to engage students in a remote setting
Qualifications:
- Licensed Special Education Teacher with experience in K-12 education
- Strong understanding of special education laws, best practices, and individualized instruction
- Experience with virtual or remote teaching is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a contract role
