Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students at a public high school in Salem, NH. This contract position spans a full semester, providing dedicated services to meet student communication needs in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Details:
- Position Type: Full-time, contract
- Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday
- Work Schedule: 7:15 AM 2:15 PM
- Duration: January 26, 2026 June 19, 2026 (contingent upon snow days)
- Meetings: Faculty and department meetings twice monthly on Wednesdays
- Location: Onsite at a high school in Salem, NH
- Interview: Conducted via Zoom
- Open to candidates with SLP licensure in NH; SLPA candidates will also be considered
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure for the state of New Hampshire required (SLP candidates)
- Consideration will be given to SLPA candidates who demonstrate relevant school-based experience
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty and students
- Ability to maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Assess, plan, and execute individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Participate in faculty and department meetings to discuss student needs and program implementation
- Maintain accurate records and comply with department guidelines
