A full-time paraprofessional position is available to support a middle school student with social emotional disabilities during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Tilton, NH. This contract role involves working one-on-one with a male student, providing individualized assistance tailored to his needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a middle school student with social emotional disabilities
- Assist with academic tasks and social skills development
- Support the students emotional regulation and behavior in the classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that enhance learning
- Maintain a supportive and positive environment
- No bathroom duties required
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, preferably with middle school-aged students
- Strong understanding of social emotional disabilities and effective support strategies
- Ability to work independently and follow established plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and adaptability in managing behavioral challenges
Location and Schedule:
- Tilton, NH
- Full-time: Monday through Friday, 7:20 am to 2:30 pm
- ESY program duration
