Come join us at Carmel Terrace! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short and Long-term care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike.
We're seeking to fill the role of Social Opportunities - Activities Assistant - Assisted Living Community.
- Every Weekend: 9am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday.
- $16 per hour.
Social Opportunities - Activities Assistant Introduction:
The Social Opportunities Assistant plays an integral role of implementing and carrying out activities with our residents that are of interest and meaning to them in order to enhance their lives and exceed their active aging lifestyle expectations.
Social Opportunities - Activities Assistant Qualifications:
- High School graduate.
- Interested in working with the elderly population.
- Experience in event planning a plus.
- Long-Term care experience preferred.
Social Opportunities - Activities Assistant Job Summary:
- Facilitate programs that maximize resident participation in social opportunities.
- Assist with planning scheduling and communicating to residents regarding programs.
- Assist in the documentation of social opportunities attendance record for all events and activities.
- Participate and works with liturgical and spiritual programs offered in the residence.
- Find innovative ways for residents to express their creativity, enjoy favorite hobbies, and learn new things; collaborate with them to customize these opportunities to their interests.
- Radiate positive energy and give residents reasons to celebrate every day.
