Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
\n• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as indicated
\n• Consult with other specialties as required for optimal patient care
\n• Work collaboratively with health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
\n• Must be able to work well under pressure and learn quickly
\n• Function as a proactive team member in a very busy emergency department
\n• Work in a rural ED with nine beds serving over 15,000 patients per year
\n• Current VT or compact multi-state RN License required
\n• BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n• TNCC certification preferred
\n• Minimum 3 years ER RN experience required
\n• Must have familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly
\n• Credentialing must be uploaded no later than five business days before start date

This rural critical access hospital is a not-for-profit independent facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. The emergency department is currently undergoing expansion and serves a high volume of patients annually. The facility is located in an area without public transportation access.
