Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time Behavior Specialist/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting K-12 students for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is based in Barre, Vermont, working primarily with students at local elementary and middle schools. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 19, 2026, following the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person behavioral assessment and interventions to students
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with state guidelines

Qualifications:

  • State-required licensure or certification for Behavior Specialist or BCBA
  • Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; candidates with other educational backgrounds plus 2 years relevant experience will be considered
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively

Location: Barre, Vermont
Duration: Contract through 6/19/2026 (tentative, follows school calendar)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
