Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
An opportunity is available for an experienced professional to provide specialized occupational therapy services in an educational setting. This role is designed to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade, focusing on their individual needs and enhancing their overall academic and developmental outes.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) is a plus
Location:
- Peterborough, NH
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Supervise and provide guidance to COTAs and support staff
- Conduct evaluations and documentation to ensure pliance with regulatory standards
