An experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in psychiatric care is sought for a pediatric unit focused on treating co-occurring disorders. This role requires comfort and strong expertise in psychiatric nursing within a multidisciplinary team setting. The position involves providing complex nursing care, clinical supervision, and collaborating in a 24-hour inpatient treatment program designed to support healing and recovery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the nursing process to address individual and group patient needs.
  • Supervising Mental Health Workers to ensure safe and therapeutic care delivery.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and apply effective interventions.
  • Supporting patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders through medically assisted withdrawal and stabilization.
  • Promoting ongoing recovery by educating patients and maintaining a supportive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with psychiatric nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated comfort and proficiency working in pediatric psychiatric settings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage complex care needs of patients with co-occurring disorders.
  • Readiness to start promptly on the required start date.

Contract Details:This is a contract position beginning on January 5th, with no exceptions to the start date.
