PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Hudson, MA 01749 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $24.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday - 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Patient Support Pharmacy Technician will resolve issues, coordinate medication deliveries, collect copayments, and provide excellent customer service through inbound call support. This position offers consistent weekday hours, an onsite work environment, and the potential for long-term placement.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer inbound calls and provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries
- Coordinate prescription deliveries and process copayments
- Communicate effectively with physician offices and patients
- Triage calls to the appropriate departments when necessary
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism while handling sensitive patient information
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active state Pharmacy Technician license or registration with the Board of Pharmacy (required)
- PTCB certification preferred
- Prior pharmacy or healthcare call center experience a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
