This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Making sure the tooling is readily available for personnel to perform machining and finishing operations
- Able to preset tooling in tool holders and kit tooling for specific operations to aid in setups on CNC equipment
- Issue tooling and supplies to machinists and finishers to perform duties
- Organize and inventory all tooling in the tool room in an orderly fashion
- Maintain records of issued tools
- Order and replenish tooling supplied through approved tooling suppliers
- Work with engineering and operations as needed to ensure new tooling are available for new product roll outs
- Follow company procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- At least three previous experience
- Must be able to use tooling pre-setters for tool holders
- Able to work with machine shop equipment – tool pre-setter
- Able to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T
- Good organization skills
- Able to keep accurate records of tooling inventory
- Good computer skills
Hours are:
Monday through Friday -7am – 3:30pm
The pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
