Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Westfield, MA, this opportunity offers a contract position within an elementary school setting, designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a CCC certification. The role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students at a dual language elementary school. While bilingual skills are not required, they are considered a valuable asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to support student communication needs.
  • Work alongside an SLPA to deliver effective therapy interventions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal setting.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Experience working with elementary school-age children.
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students and staff.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Current school year (CSY).
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • School hours: 8:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
  • One school site with two openings available.
