Schedule: 7:00 AM 2:45 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pre- Kindergarten Teacher for the 20252026 school year to support a general education early childhood classroom. This role involves leading daily instruction for a full-day prekindergarten program with strong classroom support in place, including a paraprofessional. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and experienced in early childhood instruction, with a passion for supporting young learners academic and social-emotional development in a structured school-based setting.
Responsibilities:

Lead instruction in a general education Pre-Kindergarten classroom

Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons across all subject blocks (excluding physical education and art)

Collaborate with a classroom paraprofessional to support student learning and behavior

Create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment

Monitor student progress and communicate with school staff as needed

Participate in required professional development activities
Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts General Education or Special Education teaching license

Bachelors degree required

Prior early childhood or Pre-Kindergarten teaching experience preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to support a classroom of approximately 1718 students
