Hiring for a Clinic LPN for Family Medicine in Dorchester, MA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
Pay: $40-43/hr based on experience

Summary: "Floor Nurse" role - Responsible for all medications/vaccinations/treatments ordered by the providers.

Responsibilities:

• Complies with all comapny policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team member; participates in orienting peers.
• Reviews and communicates test results per protocol.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Provides patient education.
• Administers medication, immunizations and treatments as ordered.
• Assists with management of urgent and emergent patient care situations.
• Assists with or performs procedures.
• Manages communication from internal and external sources.
• Attends nursing and organizational meetings and participates in QI initiatives.
• Provides safe, ethical, evidence based and culturally competent care.
• Floats to other nursing departments as need arises.

Requirements:

• Valid LPN License in the state of MA
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• At least 1 year experience as an LPN, experience in similar setting preferred
• Epic experience preferred
