Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Massachusetts requiring a current MA RN license and advanced L&D certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Recovery unit of a hospital setting
- Responsibilities include labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Required to float within the department and provide helping hands to NICU when needed
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Duties include caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and managing postpartum recovery
- Biweekly orientation provided for all new staff
- All time off requests must be communicated prior to consideration
- Pass/fail testing on telemetry/ECG and medication tests may be required
- Specific dress code or scrubs requirements may apply

- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS (CPR), PALS, and NRP
- COVID vaccine with booster and seasonal flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must have been separated from the health system for at least 6 months if previously employed in any capacity
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
