Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer with extensive experience in cardiac ultrasound imaging. This contract position is ideal for a proficient professional ready to contribute immediately to a busy cardiology department using advanced Philips ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations including M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE.
  • Operate within department protocols to provide high-quality imaging and patient care.
  • Conduct bubble studies using Lumason as an imaging agent.
  • Collaborate with cardiology staff and report to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Associates degree in radiology or equivalent certification.
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential required.
  • At least 5 years of experience demonstrating expertise in TEE, TTE, and Stress Echo.
  • Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records and IV insertion skills are advantageous.
