Your Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide culturally sensitive individual and family therapy tailored to the diverse needs of our clients. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing professional growth and the development of comprehensive care plans that support client wellness and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on the unique needs of each client, fostering a path to healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journey.
- Participate actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
- Engage in collaborative care with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists for a holistic approach to mental health care.
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Provisional license per state regulation (if required).
- A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
