Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist supporting a high school Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) population. This contract position involves working approximately 20 hours per week over three days, managing a caseload of about 12 students. The role is based in the Southern New Hampshire area and focuses on providing tailored mental health and behavioral support to K-12 students within a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports on each students development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and educational strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, or Licensed School Psychologist credential in the state.
- Experience working with students diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders, preferably within a school setting.
- Strong skills in behavioral assessment, counseling techniques, and crisis management.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating effectively with school staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: Southern New Hampshire area (Kingston)
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week, 3 days per week
Duration: School Year Contract (CSY)
