Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher is needed to support elementary students through service delivery and case management. This contract position spans the current school year with an immediate start and runs through June 12, 2026. The role involves working approximately 35 hours per week, managing a caseload of 11 students.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized special education services to elementary students
- Managing case files and maintaining accurate documentation for assigned students
- Collaborating with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure appropriate acmodations and interventions
- Participating in team meetings related to student progress and service planning
- Supporting students academic and social-emotional growth within the school setting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in special education settings
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation effectively
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of service delivery models and case management practices
- No evaluation responsibilities required for this role
