Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for experienced Special Education Teachers to serve K-12 students within a dynamic school district in Merrimack, NH. The role involves working full time, Monday through Friday, with varying caseloads designed to meet the diverse needs of students requiring specialized education support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities across a range of intensive needs, including developmental delays and severe impairments.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Participate actively in parent-teacher conferences and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications:

Active New Hampshire Special Education License (non-negotiable).
Certification or demonstrated expertise in intensive needs classrooms or developmental delays.
Previous experience in special education caseloads, particularly with severe or intensive needs.
Availability to work onsite full-time; hybrid schedules may be considered but are not guaranteed.
Willingness to engage in licensure expediency processes if currently holding a Statement of Eligibility (SOE).

Work Schedule and Duration:

Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Contract duration from ASAP through June 19, 2026.
