Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring Epic experience and a NH or compact license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a 10-bed ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill adult patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical cases, respiratory failure, sepsis, and stroke cases
- Some pediatric critical care cases may be managed for stabilization prior to transfer if needed
- Shift is 12-hour days from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Every third weekend is required
- Assignment length is 8 weeks
- Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is required
- Responsibilities include managing critical care interventions and collaborating with intensivists and hospitalists
- Acute stroke cases managed in conjunction with telestroke and tele/neurology services
- Pass/fail competency tests in Tele/ECG and medication required
- Dress code or scrub color requirements are not specified
- Time off requests must be listed for consideration
- Returning employees must meet facility break period policy

- Active NH or compact state RN license required
- Current AHA certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years' ICU RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
- Must have a 6-month break from any prior employment at Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities before returning
- COVID vaccine with booster and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
