Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for full-time Special Education Teachers to support elementary and middle school students in Manchester, NH. The position is a full school year contract designed for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure prehensive support
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize growth and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with all state and federal special education regulations
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures social, emotional, and academic development
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification/license
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and intervention strategies
- Ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
