A temporary contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized early childhood therapy services in a school setting. This role focuses on delivering speech and language support to pre-kindergarten students, with an emphasis on both small group and one-on-one therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted small group speech therapy sessions designed to address communication goals for Pre-K students
- Provide individualized one-on-one therapy tailored to each child's unique needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy progress and communication with families as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts is required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment serving early childhood or Pre-K students
- Familiarity with a variety of therapy approaches including teletherapy is beneficial
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
Position Details:
- Location: Brockton, MA
- Duration: Extended School Year (ESY) contract from July 7, 2025, through August 7, 2025
- Schedule: Approximately 12 hours per week
- Age Group: Pre-Kindergarten students
