Qualifications:
- Valid MA DESE license in Moderate Special Education (grades 9-12)
- Strong background in teaching math, particularly Algebra
- Experience with co-taught and inclusive classroom models
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent collaborative skills within a multi-disciplinary team
Location: Worcester, MA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to special education students, primarily in math and science.
- Collaborate with a team to provide core Academic Support instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Analyze student data to create measurable goals, objectives, and corresponding lesson plans.
- Adjust instructional materials and assessments based on data-driven insights to meet diverse learning needs.
- Attend and participate in school meetings focused on enhancing curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Work closely with the Team Chair to develop and implement IEPs, serving as a case manager for assigned students.
