Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist with at least 2 years of recent echocardiography experience and current RDCS or RCS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a noninvasive cardiology setting performing comprehensive echocardiogram studies
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 17:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Epic charting system; EMR experience is preferred
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric cardiology cases
- Primary responsibilities include performing high-quality complete echocardiogram studies and maintaining professional confidentiality
- Collaboration with a cardiology team in a fast-paced environment is expected
- Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking is available
- Local candidates must permanently reside more than 60 miles from Boston for standard rate eligibility; within 60 miles, rate is reduced
- Scrub or attire requirements not specified
- First-time travelers are not specified
- Epic charting experience preferred

- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
- Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program focused on echocardiography
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Proven completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
- Excellent technical, organizational, and time management skills required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proof of Massachusetts licensure required at time of consideration; conditional licenses not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
