Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiac Sonographer proficient in advanced cardiac imaging techniques. This role involves operating state-of-the-art diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform comprehensive cardiac scans including M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler, exercise testing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Candidates must be experienced professionals capable of seamlessly integrating into a high-functioning team with minimal onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cardiac ultrasound procedures using Philips equipment, including TEE, TTE, and Stress echo studies.
- Conduct bubble studies utilizing Lumason as the imaging contrast agent.
- Utilize M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler, and exercise testing modalities effectively.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, maintaining meticulous documentation within departmental guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to organizational policies and safety protocols.
- Assist with IV insertion when possiblethis is considered an asset.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates degree in radiology or equivalent certification required.
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential mandatory.
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum five years of experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred, indicating an ability to perform independently.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records is advantageous.
