Medical Imager – X-ray/CT Technologist
Location: Claremont, NH
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25-bed, non-profit)
License Requirement: NH MIRT (Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) license must be in hand

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and screen patients for diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures.

Acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the human body using radiologic and CT equipment.

Explain imaging procedures in terms appropriate for each patient's age and understanding level.

Assess and manage patient discomfort or pain during procedures and notify the physician when appropriate.

Ensure all aspects of patient care are conducted in a manner that maximizes safety and minimizes medical errors.

Maintain compliance with all state and federal imaging standards, including documentation and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications

ARRT Certification – Radiography & CT (CT training may be provided for the right candidate)

BLS Certification – Required

New Hampshire MIRT License – Required and must be in hand

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
-
2 years of experience preferred, but strong new grads or X-ray-only techs open to CT training will be considered
