Position Overview\n
We are seeking a qualified nursing professional to join our adaptive acuity unit. This role involves providing care to patients with a focus on progressively cared individuals, including occasional responsibilities in a progressive care unit (PCU). All assignments will follow a patient ratio for effective care management.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Deliver patient care with a standard of 1:5 for medical surgical and telemetry patients.
- Occasionally provide PCU care at a 3:1 ratio; this duty is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities when required.
- Assist in the administration of IV drips and manage patient medications.
- Be willing to float to any inpatient unit within the scope of practice as directed.

\n\nQualifications\n

- Minimum of two years of recent experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
- Previous charge nurse experience is required.
- Strong experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is essential.
- Experience with administering drips is mandatory.
- ICU experience is preferred.
- At least three months of prior travel nursing experience is required.
- Small critical access facility experience is preferred.
- Valid Vermont RN License or a Compact License is necessary.
- Active certification in American Heart Association BLS and ACLS is required.

\n\nWork Schedule\n
This position requires a commitment to work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week. There will also be a requirement for weekend and holiday coverage on an every-other-weekend basis.

The position is located in Vermont.
