Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 public school in the Manchester, NH area is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized educational services from the start date ASAP through June 17, 2026. This contract role requires an on-site presence, working approximately 32.5 hours per week to support students across the K-12 spectrum.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, collaborating with classroom teachers and school staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion, and implementing specialized communication strategies tailored to each student's needs. The teacher will also be responsible for conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintaining thorough documentation of student progress.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Active licensure and certification to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in New Hampshire
• Proven school-based experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Ability and willingness to serve a K-12 caseload (specific student caseload details to be provided)
• Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
• Availability for a Zoom-based interview process
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

This position location will be determined in either Hollis, NH, or Brookline, NH. Flexibility and a commitment to onsite work are essential for success in this role.
