Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a 26-week contract at New Hampshires premier acute psychiatric hospital in Concord, NH. This assignment offers the chance to work with patients experiencing acute mental illness while supporting their journey to stability and recovery.

Shift: Nights, 10:45 PM 7:15 AM (5x8s)

Assignment Length: 26 weeks

Holidays & Every Other Weekend: Required

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 3:24 (days), 1:24 (nights) with supervisor on site
Responsibilities:
-
Provide safe, compassionate inpatient psychiatric care in an acute hospital setting.

Apply de-escalation and crisis management techniques as needed.

Complete fit testing and comply with CDC facial hair guidelines for N95 use.

Participate fully in CPI training (online + in-class module, physical exam required).

Follow hospital protocols for infection control, safety, and quality of care.
Orientation Program:

4-week blended classroom & on-unit program.

Classroom: Verbal/physical practice, policy review, computer training.

On-Unit: Partnered with Mental Health Worker to observe and apply skills.

Completion of CPI, MHWP exam (80%+), and role competencies required.
Qualifications:

Required: Active RN license (NH or Compact)

Required: BLS
-
Required: 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience

CPI training must be successfully completed during onboarding
